Where my sox at!?
We have a year-old kitten who likes to play with socks. She somehow figured out that SOCKS come from the DRYER! So now whenever the dryer door is left open, she has to get in there and look for socks. (Yes, we are very careful to make sure she's not in there before we start our laundry.)
Here's our Zsa-Zsa, looking for socks.

A friend of my family's actually had a situation where they dried their cat. It was back in the '80's when Keds were really popular, and so when they heard the thumping in the dryer they just thought it was a pair of shoes. Their cat didn't stay in there for long, and when they realized and rushed to get her out, she had little singed ear tips, and she walked strangely. I'm pretty sure that the strange walk was from something neurological that happened during the event, because she walked funny for the rest of her life (which was long, thankfully). But still. I grew up thinking Liz's family were the WORST PET OWNERS EVER.
Don't they, though? It made me feel bad that I thought they were such bad pet owners, because the family was very nice. And the father had POLIO as a kid, for chrissakes. But still. They dried their cat!
I forgot to mention that I really like Zsa Zsa's spot on her side. It looks like she has a kitty galaxy, complete with Kitty Black Hole.
