Nap time!!! :)
congratulations! you sound happier already!
i've never taken any time off either. but i love spending a day puttering like you described.
I realized that, like Robyn, if I did not have to work for a living, I would fill my days with kitty rescue, gardening and cooking. Basically, Robyn is living my dream life.
If you lay down for, like, one movie on TNT or USA or a marathon on TLC, it'll be 9pm before you know it. Usually around 4 or 5pm things will start to get slow and you'll think "Maybe I should get up and do something." DO NOT BREAK THE MOMENTUM. The Simpsons will be on soon enough.

I'm psyched about you laying around doing nothing.
I'm totally going to renew my driver's license and then going to the fabric store to look at dress patterns for possible wedding dress options. That is, assuming I don't just go this route: http://www.dollycouture.net/

I agree with Danielle. Staying on the couch sounds harder than it is. Thank jeebus for TNT Primetime in the Daytime. ;-)

Also, I kind of love the dresses on that site. If you go with the Dolly dress, you should totally come to LA and get yours all custom-style. If not, you should take the dress to a tailor and have one made like it. The seamstress who made the gowns for my bridesmaids is awesome and CHEAP! I bought a prom dress for my wedding dress, but the bridesmaids gowns were like $60 each? And each was custom made and a different pattern. LONG STORY SHORT: check out your local tailors. I stumbled upon this lady by accident and love her and she only works out of her head (no patterns) so you either take her a picture of what you want or you describe it and she sketches it out and makes it happen. She (apparently) is well known for making gowns for the pageant girls.... so you might check out where your local beeyotches get their pageant gowns. Because after all them sequins and shit, a straight-up wedding gown is a cinch.

I know, i was like, "WELL, if i bought a dolly dress then I would HAVE to go to LA to get it fitted, right???" ha ha ha

things could be worse! I know people in California who would be GLAD to host your trip and might want to even drag you out for some... oh, I dunno... puppet shows or Disneyland or roller coasters or sunburns at the beach or... whatever. ;-)
fuck, i posted a big comment and wasn't signed it. basically, i said i was scared shit less of 5 weeks of bed rest while pregnant and then woooosh is was over. literally. ha.

dude, i am so out of the loop i don't even know what is going on in your life anymore. not that i necessarily ever did but anyways. get on IM with me sometime and give me an update of what's new and interesting. mmk?

(hugs) (kisses)
